Galfar awarded $306.5 million Road Works Contract

Galfar Engineering & Contracting SAOG, Oman announced in a statement that it has awarded the Construction of Dualization of Adam-Thumrait Road, Part 4 Contract.

The Project was awarded by Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technology, Oman.

The value of the contract is approximately OMR 118 million.

Project scope of works includes 30.2km expansion of the existing road from Qarut Al-Janubiyah roundabout in the Wilayt of Izki, passing through Birkat Al-Mawz and ending at A’Turath village in the Wilayat of Nizwa. 10 new roundabouts on the main road with improvement of two existing roundabouts and one traffic signal is part of the contract.

The duration of the project is 36 months.
